Before pandering for our votes Warren should check her facts. When the Stonewall Riot began Marsha Johnson was at a party miles away. She said herself. She said in a taped interview: “I was uptown and I didn’t get downtown until about two o’clock, because when I got downtown the place was already on fire. And it was a raid already. The riots had already started.”

Johnson who was friends with Sylvia said that she later went to locate Sylvia who was passed out in a park, but that was long after the riots began. Neither of them claimed to have lead the riots. That is modern mythology, much like the economics Warren promotes.
