My assumptions about Friedman are because I heard him say it more than once. As for the illusion of migrants taking jobs from Americans which crop will be you be picking. About 70% of farm workers are migrants and when they were in short supply agriculture said they had to let crops go bad because Americans didn't want the job, but I'm happy you do want to work the fields and look forward to it.
